(June 19, 2026) – It’s summer in Massachusetts and that means it’s time to think about protecting your family from mosquitos. If you live in Ayer, you can sign up to have your yard sprayed for free. You can visit the Central Massachusetts Mosquito Control Project website. Look for the “Request Service” icon or here is a direct link.
The project’s published schedules show it began spraying on June 1st.

While you can call the project by phone, you can also just sign up on the website and expect to receive email updates. In the past, we have received email notifications before spraying, with this subject line, “Notification of a Pending Spray Event.” This will include instructions on closing your home’s windows and other points.
