(August 18, 2026) – Main Street Bank presented the Select Board with an oversized $5,000 presentation check to mark its return as the Premiere Sponsor of the Newton Street Festival on Oct. 3rd.
“The heartbeat of Ayer is its people and Main Street Bank is very excited to participate yet again and sponsor the 2026 Newton Street Festival, which is a celebration of community and connectivity and people,” the bank representative said.
She noted Main Street Bank has served the communities for decades, through volunteerism and events such as this, and also through financial literacy education.
She stood for a photo with members of the committee working on this year’s Newton Street Festival. This will be the sixth year the Town of Ayer has hosted the Newton Street Festival and this year, the event will be held on Saturday, Oct. 3rd from 10 am to 3 pm.
